Pennington Cedar Picnic Table Squirrel Feeder is designed with triangle style table legs and two crossbars on each side for stability. The 8-inch tray style table has a threaded screw in middle that holds one corn cob securely and keeps all the critter mix and peanuts from falling to the ground. It also has drainage holes to keep the seed fresh and dry. There are two 9-inch benches so squirrels can stand on each bench and eat at the same time. Constructed from durable Eastern Red Cedar, nature’s renewable resource, is naturally weather resistant. Pennington Cedar Picnic Table holds one corn cob and up to a ½ pound of critter mix, whole peanuts, or shelled peanuts. This feeder can easily be mounted to any tree, post, fence, or deck by using the included screws in the pre-drilled holes or hang from any tree branch or hook by inserting the included rust resistant hanging chain through the 4 predrilled hanging holes, two on each bench. | Care and maint | We recommend Wild Bird Feeders should be cleaned at least once per month with one part liquid chlorine bleach to 9 parts hot water. Make enough solution to immerse the feeders. Allow the feeder to soak for 10 minutes to loosen debris. Wear rubber gloves and wash all feeder parts inside and out where birds may perch or waste may collect including feeding ports, perches, lids, platforms, reservoirs, and feeder hooks and poles using a stiff brush. After cleaning, rinse the feeder and all parts for at least 10 seconds in clean water to remove all chemical residue. Allow the feeders to air dry completely, especially wooden feeders, before refilling with seeds |
